Actress Chacha Eke-Faani, a Nollywood star and daughter to the Ebonyi State Commissioner for Education, Professor John Eke has announced the end of her marriage to her hubby, Austin Faani.

Recall that, Chacha and her hubby celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary in June 2020.

As part of her way of celebrating the anniversary, the actress took to Instagram handle to share beautiful family photos and a video from their wedding.

She wrote,

“7 years ago when Tino asked me 6to be his wife, I laughed so hard thought he was kidding. Well, 7 years and three children later, I’m still laughing and he clearly wasn’t kidding.”

In an emotional video Chacha Ike shared on hac her Instagram page this morning October 3, the mother of three said she is leaving the marriage with her life and would share her story someday.

“You will say I am crazy but I am not. This video is to let the world know that I am done with the marriage. I don’t have a lot to prove that I am done with him but I am done. I’m done. I am leaving with my life finally. I can’t say a lot now. You will hear my story” she stated

The actress, who made the announcement in a video via her Instagram account didn’t give details of what led to the end of her marriage.

The mother of three also said she was leaving the union while she’s still alive adding that she will give full details of what led to the breakup later.

According to Chacha, she and Austin were best of friends before they got married and that has helped her whenever they had misunderstandings. She added that seeing her husband as a friend removes so much pressure from her marriage.
Austin Faani a movie director supported Chacha’s views by buttressing that marriage is not for everyone and women should understand that they have the power to control men, hence should not attempt to become men.

According to her, Some people say she is crazy but she isn’t. Adding that she is doing the video to let the whole world know that she’s done with the marriage.

“I don’t have a lot to prove that I am done with him but am done, am leaving with my life.”

  5. There was a point I was discouraged about getting married because of the rate of divorce but when I looked at my mum and how they are like siblings, I had faith again….. Divorce won’t stop .
