According to the EFCC twitter handle @EFCCofficial,the Operatives of the the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan zonal office, have arrested two pairs of brothers: Ayoola Timilehin, Olusola Timilehin, and Oladayo Fayemi, Tolulope Fayemi and three others suspected to be internet fraudsters.

They were arrested at their hide out on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Alakia, Elebu area of Ibadan, Oyo State.

Naijanewsmill gathered that the alleged Internet fraudsters have been involved in several Credit Cards and Bank Loan Scam, it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Such scams fool people a little more than expected, even in an age where information is so readily available that we’re expected to be wiser. They send messages telling victims that a large amount of money has been pre-approved and offered as a loan.

When it comes to credit cards, this kind of scam is becoming more and more popular day in day out and is leading to the loss of billions by innocent victims.

The Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, has urge Nigerians to be at alert at all times and avoid being a victim of internet scam.
Also, to watch your online transactions and accounts closely, take advantage of consumer protection services, and sign up for credit monitoring

Analyses conducted so far by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on their phones and laptops have linked them to the alleged ctime.
